I was a JW for 23 years . . . been out for 7. When I was regular pioneering I found myself working alone more and more. When discussing it with a couple of Elders I was told to "trust in Jehovah more" and "to be prepared to work alone" . . . talk about changing the counsel to fit the circumstances!
our public talk and wt study is on saturdays.
i was informed by an elder that i shouldn't leave right away after the meeting.. immediately i had a sinking feeling in my stomach.
but not as bad as i would have felt about it months ago.
Your probably in the worst place of all in your "journey" Nobleheart . . . it just sucks don't it.
Depending on your personal circumstances (family ties etc), the concensus here would probably be to begin the fading process. This will precipitate more than one repeat of your recent experience.
If you want to initiate a rapid fade . . . then fein a mental illness (no I'm not kidding) . . . make it known you are suffering from depression and you will soon be left to your own devices and eventually forgotten . . . apologies to fellow genuine sufferers.
Not your fault mouthy . . . but the ending did highlight something for me . . . only a JW or an XJW could sucessfully "stage" a d 2 d encounter that would survive scrutiny . . . such is the nature of cult behavior

Russells burial site is something I had familiarised myself with prior. . . but the "Divine Plan" citings were interesting.

of corse i know that we've been around much longer, i think it's more like 250,000. what i'm wondering , is it even possible to turn 2 people into almost 7billion, in that short period of time?
and during that time, two white, or probably some shade of brown people gradually became all the differnt races we have today?
that dosen't seem logical, i know jws aren't logical, but did this ever cross anyones mind while they were in this religion?.
Sorry . . . I should have explained . . . it was Ranginui, the god of the sky (evidently an angel of Jehovah) who related these things to Maui the great fisherman (likely this was one of Noah's sons probably Ham) and he told them.

I think I can help with the animals on the ark problem . . . There is an ancient legend among my ancesters (Tangata Whenua), that Noah was in fact the worlds first postman . . . and that while his sons where busy pro-creating, he personally dropped off all the little animals at their respective homes . . . Moa's in New Zealand . . . Kangaroos in Australia . . . Panda's in China . . . you get the picture . . . makes sense aye?

PS: Can't disagree with your observations re; womens role . . . interesting from your perspective. A negative for males is they often end up with weak relationships in thier own families when thier time get's sucked away . . .
